Centuries have passed since humanity was pushed the brink of extinction against their greatest threat.  Human genetics are no longer set in stone as they once were.  Entire phenotypes can be created, altered, and eliminated using the advancements made in technology.  Epidemics have been virtually eradicated - except for one, it seems, which refuses to be so easily unwritten from humanity's DNA.

In their search for answers to the questions that haunt them, three unlikely individuals must join forces to find their freedom.  A young man, already riddled with the disease; an android government agent seeking citizenship; a young woman possessing great and terrible power, raised in an inhumane experimental facility.

Their journey will not go unnoticed, and they will find themselves fighting for their lives as the truths they seek turn out to be more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. Can the system they work to eradicate even be conquered? Or is it in fact the lesser evil masking an even greater nightmare?
